Friends in a field

Camp Treetops strives to create a community that supports, includes, and appreciates children and adults of all racial, cultural, religious, and ethnic identities; of all genders and sexual orientations; and of varying abilities, interests, and life experiences.

We aspire to create and sustain a model environment where issues of equity are discussed freely, honestly, and in an informed manner for the purpose of achieving and maintaining an inclusive community. Each summer, we endeavor to create a safe and supportive space for children and adults, and the time to make connections to one another and to the natural world, to foster empathy, to build resilience and cultivate confidence. Creating that space and time does not happen by accident or through simply following tradition. To build a community that is more dynamic and compassionate, we are committed to continuing the work of recognizing the needs, rights, strengths and struggles of all.
