Treetops’ campers are encouraged to celebrate art, music, and drama as a community, across all of our acreage, both indoors and out. With opportunities for creativity woven seamlessly into every Treetops day, campers discover not only the simple joys of self-expression, but also a sense of resourcefulness and accomplishment. Some forms of art may be ethereal and explorative, while others require more process and planning. All involve imaginative, hands-on learning.
Traditional Crafts & Arts
Our craft shops are led by experienced artisans and educators who encourage children to explore their own creativity as they learn new skills in weaving, woodworking, pottery, felting, painting, drawing, knitting, beading, papermaking, and more. A canoe paddle made in the woodshop, a wall hanging woven on the floor loom, or a bowl thrown on a potter’s wheel all instill in children a sense of confidence in their abilities.
Performing Arts
