Our campus is simple and rustic. Children live in a platform tent or cabin, with two or three other campers of similar age. These tent groups are carefully organized with camper compatibility in mind, and each is overseen by a counselor. In keeping with our unplugged philosophy, tents and cabins do not have electricity.
Camp provides the following items for each child:
- bed and mattress
- shelf for personal items
- sheets and blankets
- pillow and pillowcases
- bug netting
Campers tidy their tents and belongings every morning. Bedding and laundry are washed by our laundry staff on a weekly basis.
Our washhouses are equipped with electricity and running water — sinks, flush toilets, and showers (with hot water). Counselors ensure campers brush their teeth twice a day, wash their face, care for their hair, and apply sunscreen and bug spray as needed.
