Camper in a tree

Camp Treetops is a non-profit institution and is able to offer scholarship assistance based on financial need. In any given year, roughly 25 percent of Treetops campers benefit from our robust scholarship program.

Who is eligible?

Aid is awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, and does not discriminate on the basis of sex, gender, race, religion, color, or national or ethnic origin.

When to apply?

We have a rolling scholarship application process. Scholarship applications should be submitted as soon as possible. Our scholarship committee begins reviewing applications for returning campers in mid-October and for new campers in mid-December.

How to apply?

  1. Complete the Treetops online camper enrollment form.
  2. Complete the online Treetops Scholarship Application (Login to Treetops account, click on Forms and Documents, complete the form).
  3. Send a copy of your most recent Federal Income Tax Form.
  4. Send a deposit check of at least $100 (this deposit is applied to the tuition payment). Deposits for scholarship applicants will NOT be cashed until an award has been made and accepted by the family.

How does the decision on aid get made?

The scholarship committee will review the application and supporting tax information to evaluate financial need. Decisions will be made as soon as funds are available and there is space available in the appropriate camper age group.

How/when does notification of an award occur?

Award letters will be sent to applicant families as soon as the committee has decided on an award. Families are requested to reply, accepting or rejecting the scholarship, within 10 business days of receipt of the award letter. Once the award has been accepted, the deposit check will be cashed and an enrollment confirmation will be sent.
