“For all children, camp replaces, for a short time the big, complex world of machines, cars, radio, and television, with a small, simple community in which youngsters can take an active part.”
-Helen Haskell, Treetops Director 1929-1969
Treetops is 100 and you’re invited to help us celebrate!
The summer of 2020 marks one-hundred years of Camp Treetops. Since 1921, Treetops has welcomed children from around the globe for summers spent exploring the natural world, connecting with friends, and becoming independent as they learn to thrive in a strong community. This centennial year is a wonderful opportunity for reflection, gratitude, hope, and celebration.
We are marking this occasion with a special publication, a short film highlighting our history and people, gatherings around the country, and the establishment of the Treetops Centennial Fund, which will support access to Camp for more children. We hope you will join us to honor the past, present, and future of Treetops.
