Reiley Burwell
Communications Associate
Reiley graduated from St. Lawrence University in 2021 with a B.A. in Performance and Communication Arts and a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Her interest in media blossomed during her undergrad, where she studied media literacy and the importance of media in creating communities while abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, and completed her senior honors thesis on how the use of social media and narrative persuasion has shaped and impacted the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Before arriving at NCS, Reiley was the Communications and Engagement Coordinator for GardenShare—a nonprofit that promotes a local food system that ensures food security for all St. Lawrence County residents. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, and two cats.
