Executive Chef

Jessica grew up in southern Connecticut, but she spent her weekends at her family’s property in Vermont. The love of the mountains and being outdoors inspired Jessica to attend Paul Smith’s College in Paul Smiths, NY, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts Service Management. Throughout her college career, Jessica worked in many different restaurants around Saranac Lake and Lake Placid as a line cook and eventually as a sous chef. After graduating she worked in a variety of culinary trades, starting from the bottom as a breakfast cook and finally working her up to general manager of two separate franchises, all the while building a family and enjoying what the Adirondacks have to offer. Jessica made her way to North Country School in 2019. She loves everything NCS has to offer, especially working with the barn and garden staff to get the freshest ingredients to cook with.
